What is Noni juice made from? Healing Noni Juice is produced according to the traditional Hawaiian recipe. It uses only the whole fruit, no bark or leaves. Noni fruit turns yellow as it ripens and has a strong, pungent odor and taste. The juice that naturally seeps from the Noni fruit is called Noni juice. It is collected from carefully selected and washed ripe Noni fruit. Contrary to common belief, Hawaiian Noni juice is NOT stored for many months before use. If you allow the Noni juice to age for a long time it becomes more bitter and fermented without increasing the medicinal potency. The traditional method used by the native Kahunas was to let the juice age for only 7 to 12 days. This is the method followed by Healing Noni. What is Noni Juice’s natural color? Noni juice is golden amber to reddish dark brown color, depending upon the age of the Noni juice. It takes about 5 lbs of Noni fruit to make a quart of clear juice, (without pulp). Healing Noni recommends that the consumer flavor the Noni Juice with natural grape, raspberry or blueberry juice to give it a delicious, fruity taste without the bad aftertaste so common in other Noni products on the market today. Some producers and processors have already added varying amounts of fruit juice to their Noni beverage. It is impossible to know, however, how much fruit juice was added and what the quality of this added juice is. For these reasons, it is much better and safer to purchase 100% pure Hawaiian Noni Juice and only add water or juice to it yourself. This way you can be certain that you are consuming the right amount of a high quality Noni product.
